This project involved undertaking roof condition surveys and inspections of drainage systems to inform the programme of repairs or refurbishment required to the terminal buildings at London Luton Airport.
The surveys undertaken were roof level visual surveys only and reports were produced to identify any defects and provide recommended remedial actions. The surveys required coordination with the airport’s staff to allow access, with a number of areas requiring high level access equipment in the form of a MEWP. Works Performance Specification was also produced for each element i.e. roof system, drainage system etc. Budget costings were produced for each area and appended to the reports.
