EDGE delivered a state-of-the-art workspace to enhance support for the university’s entrepreneurs and SMEs. We also secured European funding, while the project went on to win a RIBA award.

Delivering a flexible and modern facility to provide a dynamic workspace.

Our effective use of European Regional Development Funding created a facility that fosters collaboration, connectivity, and community.

This aligned perfectly with Nottingham Trent University’s objectives to support and scale local enterprises.

We successfully managed the development of this state-of-the-art facility in Nottingham city centre, from start to finish.

Completed delivery also supports the university’s vision of providing flexible working spaces which are tailored for entrepreneurs and SMEs.

In 2024, the project won a RIBA East Midlands Award.

Strategic management and value delivery.

Adept engagement with multiple stakeholders and end users was behind the success of this project.

Our project management team added significant value through communication and collaboration with these groups whilst adhering to tight budgets or schedules.

We secured ERDF funding and aligned project deliverables with NTU’s goals, ensuring the centre met the dynamic needs of its users.

By focusing on value for money and supporting the mission to facilitate business growth, EDGE contributed to a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem.

In turn this has enhanced the student and local business experience.
