Driving energy savings for this hospitality giant by rolling out a national solar programme for over 200 properties. We collaborate closely with client teams to ensure safety in live environments.

This programme supports Mitchells & Butlers’ sustainability goals to achieve net zero emissions by 2040.

They are also committed to achieving a 70 per cent reduction in scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2030.

A key initiative is the major rollout and installation of PV panels to their freehold, in collaboration with EDGE.

It is predicted that for each site fitted with PV panels in one financial year, 1.8 million kWh of electricity will be saved from non-renewable sources.

This equates to more than 1,250 tonnes of CO2 equivalent, enough to power 500+ average homes for a year.

Flexibly resourcing the project programme.

We have successfully adapted resource levels throughout this significant solar programme to meet the client’s evolving needs.

Given the geographically diverse and bespoke nature of over 100 PV installations to date, a one-size-fits-all approach was never considered.

Project leads, informed by the office resource document and senior team input, ensured optimal resource management.

Throughout the programme we maintained a single primary point of contact. This provides continuity and develops client confidence.
